The Nissan Cabstar mixes Van and Truck in one Vehicle

The Cabstar bridges the gap between a normal van and truck. Its cab over engine layout makes for Nissan Cabstar Engineimpressive carrying capacity and makes it very easy to manoeuvre – ideal if you’re working on a busy construction site or delivery in tight city streets. The cabin is larger than the previous model and has plenty of stowage, although it can’t match most vans for overall comfort. But there’s a good choice of wheelbases and gross vehicle weights while Nissan’s Good-To-Go range offers ready made conversions from box vans and fridges to flat beds and tippers. Like the previous model, it’s very robust and strong while improved fuel consumption and longer service intervals make it cheap to run.

The range is impressively flexible with three different wheelbase lengths, two cab types; a single tilt cab and a double cab and three gross vehicle weights of 3.4 tonnes, 3.5 tonnes and 4.5 tonnes. The short wheelbase model is offered in 3.4 tonne single or 3.5 tonne and 4.5 tonne twin rear wheel forms, while all medium and long wheelbase models are rated at 3.5 or 4.5 tonnes with twin rear wheels.

Because of reliability and variations offered in the engine for Nissan Cabstar, it is widely in use for recreational purposes. The Nissan Cabstar engine for sale is also available in the form of motor-homes. Some of the other companies have also used engines for Nissan Cabstar.
