The Nissan Juke diesel engine of 1.5 litre capacity is now upgraded and more refined and captured
about one third sales portion of UK market so far and it has proved its fuel economy is best in the class that has been improved up to 14% but no changes to the price of Juke. This engine has the same 108bhp power output with the extra 20lb ft of torque. The supermini SUV has the same 0-62mph sprint time of just 11.2 seconds, and it gets to the top speed of 109mph however, the biggest improvement is in term of fuel economy. The all new turbo charger and the variable fuel pump along with the start stop technology are fitted as the standard in all juke models. As we noticed that the new model has the turbocharged engine has improved fuel economy that brings back 58.9 mpg to 67.3 mpg in an average and motorway cycle, however the exhaust emissions of the engine are 109 g/km of CO2. It is noticeable factor that the emissions are reduced by 12 percent from 124 g/km. As the all new juke has received the massive refinements in every area similarly it has refined gearbox ratios that clearly benefit the juke on the road. First gear and second one are reduced to give massive pull and improved response while the third and sixth gears are long enough for the massive torques. It has also refined its driving modes and now came up with the three different driving modes includes the Eco mode, Normal Mode and sport. If you select the eco mode than the torque will be capped on 165 lb/ft with the reduced throttle sensitivity however the 1.5 Dci engine is available in all juke range includes the N-Tec trim but not the range topping Nismo.
